Bruce
Willis returns to our screens in the latest of what seems
to be a long line of scary movies - but if you are
expecting the usual explosive action packed film that
Bruce Willis is in - then think again.
This film is both scary and heart rendering as it tells
the story of young Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment), who has
the un-nerving talent of being able to see dead people,
and Dr Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis), an award winning
child pshycologist who steps in to try find out what is
going on.
As the pair slowly build a relationship of trust Dr Crowe
begins to learn more and more about what is disturbing
the boy - with chilling consequences.
The film manages to grab your attention from the first
scene, and continues to hold you while dragging you
through a wealth of emotions, until just when you think
it's all over, there is a show stopping finale that is
guaranteed to take you by surprise.
I have to say that this has to be one of the best films
of the year, and unlike "The Haunting" and
"The Blair Witch Project" it delivers both the
chills and the atmosphere throughout.
My advice - go see it now - don't wait for the video
release!
